One popcorn combination that is becoming more popular is cinnamon. A cinnamon popcorn recipe is a great way to spice up your snack and it doesn't require much more effort than normal popcorn.
There are several ways to add cinnamon flavor to your popcorn but here we will focus on using ground cinnamon since it is readily available. The easiest way to add the cinnamon is to simply shake it over the popped popcorn as you are adding the salt and butter or oil. However, in this cinnamon popcorn recipe we will take it up a level and make a sweet cinnamon coating to pour over it.
Once you mix together the cinnamon and sugar coating you pour it over the popcorn and then bake it until it dries out and creates a light crust on the popcorn that is just fantastic!
The resulting cinnamon popcorn is an awesome treat!

Cinnamon Popcorn Ingredients
For the Cinnamon Popcorn
2 quarts popped popcorn, about 1/4 cup kernals 1 egg white 1/2 cup white sugar 1-2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/4 teaspoon salt
Cinnamon Popcorn Instructions
Pre-heat an oven to 300°F.
Whisk together the egg, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and salt in a small bowl until they are combined well.
Take a baking pan that can comfortably hold the popcorn and lightly grease it or spray it with Pam or another spray. Place the popcorn into the pan and spoon the egg mixture over the top of it. Stir the popcorn so it is well mixed.
Place the cinnamon popcorn into the oven and bake until it has dried out. It can take from 10 minutes to 30 minutes to fully dry out depending on your oven and how dry you like it.
Once the cinnamon popcorn is dried to your liking, remove it from the oven. You can now eat the cinnamon popcorn or let it cool down and store in an airtight container for several days.
That's all there is to this simple cinnamon popcorn recipe!
